potterypeace art classes run year round open enrollment. All classes are customized for each student's schedule. Summer offers the chance for kids to really indulge in art & come twice or more in a week and to also allow time off for that quick trip away for a week. Customize your schedule to cultivate creativity in yourself or your child. New classes are added frequently so please feel free to contact us if you have an interest in a different day or time than is currently listed.

1st week of camp: Clay Sculpture and Pottery
2nd week of camp: Painting, Drawing & Glazing
Each camp is appropriate for ages 5-12. Monday - Thursday 10am - 1pm for two weeks. The children bring lunch and dress appropriately for getting messy and for venturing our art outdoors.

Registration has begun and space is only 10 children in each camp. Enroll now for summer art camp & our on-going art classes.

Beginners welcome
everyone receives individualized instruction - 6 students
ages 5 and up
Teen classes are also offered. Private instruction, for both children and adults, is available.

Home Schooler's Clay Class

Troop Badge Workshops

Attend 1 class or more. Customize your schedule. Pay as you go or save $20 and enroll in a customized session of 8 classes. Finished clay pieces are picked up after they have been glaze fired in the kiln.

Classes: firing fee averages $5 per finished piece (price varies on size of ware). For example, one student with 5 finished pieces of average size would pay the course fee for instruction and materials and pay the firing fee of an additional $25 upon picking up their 5 finished pieces. This additional charge covers the cost of glazes and 2 kiln firings.

Classes are intended for all levels and are geared towards each person’s desire of what they would like to explore. Techniques in throwing and handbuilding/sculpting will be covered to the level of the student's ability and the level of challenge desired.

Come express yourself in clay and learn the skill of pottery making and sculpting. Did you ever want to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel? Now's the time to do it! The above is our pottery and clay sculpture schedule. We also have painting and drawing for children and adults.

Painting & Drawing classes run for 8 weeks or one class at a time for as many or as few classes as you would like. $10 Materials fee in addtion to enrollment charge. Students have the choice to work with pencils, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and acrylics.
